“There's a race of men that don't fit in, A race that can't sit still; So they break the hearts of kith and kin, And they roam the world at will. They range the field and rove the flood, And they climb the mountain's crest; Their's is the curse of the gypsy blood, And they don't know how to rest.”

December The Two

Here's a little preview of my Christmas Cards, still quite in rough form. I must love you people to do so much folding....It's about 1100 folds amongst all of the cards, not including the folds necessary to turn 25 pieces of square paper into 25 pieces of hexagonal paper. I think they'll be quite satisfying to complete, though!

  1. Oh my old friend Sarah! Where do the days go? It feel like just last week that I was foraging for bramble-berries in the sun. Alas, the icy grim of winter is upon us.

Snow on the hill tops and the scent of gingerbread drifting from cottage to cottage here in the Shire. We hobbits are hearty folk, as you know, but this year I think I might just spring for a pair of boots! I know, I know. What a bit of controversy that would cause around town. A hobbit... in bootsies! It gives me a belly full of chuckles to picture the raucous.

Have you made sure to purchase warm mittens for the winter? I have heard through the grapevine, as one might say in warmer months, that your 2012 Christmas card is going to be alight with the smiles of your friend Tori and yourself. How exciting! I can't wait for mine to arrive. I think I shall place it on the fireplace mantle this year so that I may enjoy stealing a glimpse of your shining grin while I take my morning tea with second breakfast.

    Toodaloo Sarah Ball!

  2. I do not know him. He is an imposter Sarah! The real Gandalf certainly loves music, but he despises the bagpipes. He prefers singing and making merry!

    Your dear friend,
