“There's a race of men that don't fit in, A race that can't sit still; So they break the hearts of kith and kin, And they roam the world at will. They range the field and rove the flood, And they climb the mountain's crest; Their's is the curse of the gypsy blood, And they don't know how to rest.”

West Coast Bucket List

I've been insinuating for a few months that my time in Vancouver might be ending soon. While unfortunate, I also see this as a brand spankin' new adventure. I like adventures.

Since I have some time, I see an opportunity to make a bucket list of things I'd like to do before I trek off. Things like (but not exclusively):

  • snowshoeing up high
  • an afternoon in Steveston
  • one more dim sum brunch
  • club hop (somehow I haven't yet made it to many dance clubs!)
  • Two forays into Dine Out Vancouver 2013
  • a walk/bike along the length of the seawall
  • attend a professional sports match
  • visit the Dr. Sun Yat Sen gardens
I'll entertain any offers from you to come along/help me make them happen! I'll also accept offers of others things I simply must do before I go!

  1. That's a very achievable Vancouver bucket list....I'd be happy to help you cross a few of those off your list.

    1. I've already had a friend set a date for dimsum, and another date for Dine Out...but there are still plenty of things to do!

  2. Leaving Vancouver Sarah? AN ADVENTURE!!! Where are you heading? I wonder where you will travel to? Do be ever so careful to pack elvish bread for your journey, lest you run out of food. Also, should your travels lead you through Mirkwood forest, please be ever so careful! There are dangers lurking there that must be avoided at all costs Sarah Ball!

However, if you simply wish to come visit me in the Shire, I would be happy to prepare for you a feast and show you around! Brandywine Bridge is quite a sight and the village of Bree is just humming this time of year. Oh boy I'm so excited to have a guest! See you soon I do hope ever so much!

    Yours very truly my dear,

    1. Many thanks! It's been some time since I had my hands on lembas bread, though I am well aware of how helpful it is (if not tasty). I'll make sure to pack some.

Thank you for the invitation to your hole! Though, I'm not sure if it's along the way....And wouldn't the beds be quite short?
